Thoughts About the Trade Fair

It has been over half a year since we started doing this project. These months have been full of laughter, phone calls, emails and stress. We have learned a lot about our friends, teachers, other team members and also ourselves. Even if sometimes everything has felt hard and insurmountable, we have managed to get over it. We wouldn't do anything any different and we are proud of ourselves. This project has taught us a lot.

Now there’s only four days left until our big moment! It’s time to show others what we have done in the past few months. Even though we have worked a lot, we still have many little things to do. The next couple days will be the busiest and most stressful days of this whole project. Our hard work will be rewarded on Saturday and we are really looking forward to that!

As you might know, there will be plenty of things to do on the fair trade. The United States Ambassador to Finland, Charles C. Adams Jr, will be one of the keynote speakers. He will talk about the role of entrepreneurship in education in the U.S. Janne Mustonen will also speak about the importance of entrepreneurship. Marianne Sendenali will tell us about blogging and social media as a job. There will also be a fashion show, live music and a panel discussion about internationality in Pyhäjoki. Outside you’ll find an activity area where you can try Hoverboards, Kiiking-swing and Bodyzorb-balls. There will be a gaming place which is meant especially for younger people. We are sure that everyone will find something fun to do in the trade fair!

In the end we want to thank all who have helped us during the project. Our families have been really compassionate. Our teachers have supported us and they have given us time to work at school, not only during our free time. We’ve many awesome cooperation partners who have sponsored us. If we needed help, we always had it. Thank you all.
